This was super disappointing. I think the trouble began when you chose your to be forthcoming about your raise. I think that you deserved the raise, but because you were friends and business partners you should have given the opportunity to rise to the occasion. If she chose not to, then that’s her decision. She can’t complain? But you took away her opinion to make that choice when you you chose not to b forthcoming. When you guys found out you were being lowballed it sound like Dave responded poorly. I don’t understood how you two went into the rooftop meeting not on the same page. That was the most important thing. You were supposed to be a team. Instead of tying to people please you once again should have been upfront with her. Your desires at important too. You also need to be happy. I do think that Sofia as being purposefully difficult during later negotiations, but I think that was because she didn’t trust you. You and Batstool did something shady behind et back. Calling Dave behind her back and signing the deal was another behind the back mistake. You owed it to each other to have a conversation beforehand explaining that that was your plan and you are moving forward. She could either hop on that same page, or she could walk away, but you once again took that choice away from her. Alex,this was your friend does. I’m not blaming you. I know there was more going on behind the scenes that you can’t upload in a video, but from what you said in this explanation video it sounds like there were major communication breakdowns because you we’re uncomfortable having uncomfortable conversations and trying to be everything for everyone. Losing a best friend really sucks... definitely worse than a break up. It's been about 3-4 years since I lost my best friend due to a lack of finding common ground on an important issue also & it still really hurts. I hope both of y'all are continuing to heal <3

The fact that Sofia was happy to let Alex do all the editing and extra work but wanted Alex to keep quiet about it , cos it "made her look bad" really shows her true colours. She could have easily started helping Alex with that aspect of it, but chose not to and ride her coattails and guilt Alex into secrecy. Alex made the right choice ❤

I just started reading up on this drama and it’s pure gold. Truth is that both of them are to blame for this ordeal. One girl was completely naive in trusting everyone including her “friend” to do right by her while not thinking clearly and Alex was just a terrible friend. I don’t think Alex is a bad person, but I think she needs some self reflection. Fact of the matter is she’s accusing people of being greedy while she’s the one who negotiated a raise and kept it from her friend. She’s also currently sitting on 100 million while the other girl ended up with nothing. Alex was just more business savvy and saw the value in the brand rights. But just like any other job, Sophia was probably just more bitter with that initial contract because she didn’t get that raise that Alex got and probably just wanted to leave. Easier for Alex to deal when she was more content since she was making more the entire time. Just goes to show you dont become a millionaire without stepping on a few heads. Unfortunate to see because you can tell from the original show these two did actually love each other and got along. But money anyways changes everyone

Sofia fumbled the ball. She miscalculated how loyal Alex was to her, and how much leverage she actually had as host of CHD. Alex woke up and realised that she had been laying the foundations to fuck Sofia over for years now, so she did. I say they’re both horrible people, but that’s why I loved listening to them in the first place. There must be a special place in hell for someone who would betray a friend like that - a Cooper special 😂

All in all , anyone should watch it if they ever want to do business with u. Because at the end of the day you will pick business over anyone. Looks like u are just projecting, talking about Sofia being greedy when u did exactly that by going over her head and leaving her high and dry.
